GOALIE AGE ELIGIBILITY FOR 2026-2027 SEASON
Oldtimers
- Full Time Goalies: Geared towards Goalies aged 22 before the start of the season (Sept 28, 2026)***
- Spare Goalies: Geared towards Goalies aged 18 at the time that they play in the league.
Why the change in ages for goalies?
We have been struggled with getting enough goalies (full time and spares) to meet our leagues needs. With vacations, work and injuries, we need to find a way to get more goalies into the mix. As such, our executive and team reps have decided to adjust the eligibility requirements for the upcoming season to see if it has the desired effects.
***Proof of Eligibility
The Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association reserves the right to request proof of a player's age, if there is any question about whether they meet the eligibility age requirements of our league.

**GOALIE REGISTRATION**:
Goalies Spots will not be confirmed by registration. Goalies will be selected by the Executive and Teams Reps by mid July - we will select goalies as soon as possible to give goalies as much notice as we can.
- Goalies will be selected and offered spots by the league. All remaining goalies may choose to spare for the league.
GOALIE SELECTION:
The Association's Executive and Team Reps will select Goalies through an anonymous balloted vote. Those who receive the most votes will be offered the 8 full time spots. All other goalies will be offered a spot as a spare.
In the event of an injury to a full time goalie, we will use our spare goalies to select the most suitable replacement.

REGISTRATION FEES:
Registration Fees for Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey for the 2026-2027 Season as are Follows:
Full Time Goalies - $425, does not include Processing Fees*
SPARE GOALIES FEES:
There is a $30 fee for registering as a Spare*
Spares Goalies Fees/Game - No Charge
Spare Goalies have to pay this small registration fee for insurance and general league expenses. After this initial fee, they play for free.
*Processing Fees are charged directly to the Players based on their method of payment and do not come to the league. The processing fee will change slightly depending on whether you pay in full or you pay by installments.
PAYMENT METHOD:
Goalies - Goalie Fees of $425 will be due immediately upon completion of the online registration form. Our registration form will automatically take you to the payment page for the registration Fee. You will have the choice of paying in full or in installments.
Spares - Spares Fees of $30 will be due immediately upon completion of the online registration form. Our registration form will automatically take you to the payment page for the registration Fee.
EARLY/LATE FEES: We no longer will have any early or late fees for our league.
