Players who sign up for the wait list, we will used to replace players who drop out this season. Due to cohort restrictions, we cannot utilize spares skaters this season. The best we can do is offer players a spot when someone drops out of the league. Welcome all Players to join our wait list. Now money will be due or paid until such time that a player is added to the league as a replacement for a full time spot.

  1. Use of Email: 
    By supplying my email address, I agree to receive registration, league, game and general information from Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey and it's affiliated Associations.  The email address(es) provided above will be used for member communication by Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey and Team Reps throughout the hockey season.  

    Please notify the Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Executive via the Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey website to have an email id removed from the mail list.
  2. Over the course of the season, player names (including team lists) are included on the Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association website, public Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey displays and possibly newspaper publications. Additionally, throughout the season, individual and team pictures and videos are taken at various Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association events (and may be used beyond the current year). Your permission is requested to use your full name and photographs/videos .
  3. RELEASE AND DISCHARGE (please read carefully):

    I hereby release and forever discharge Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association, its Officers, Directors, Convenors, Team Reps, Referees or other Officials and the Town of Caledonia (County of Haldimand) from all claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action arising or to arise by and reason because of my participation in any Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey program, in this or any successive years(s), including (but without limiting the generality of the foregoing) any and all dental and medical bills and further of and from all claims or demands whatsoever in law or in equity which I, my heirs, executors, administrators or assignors can, shall or may have by reason aforesaid.
  4. Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association has created a detailed Season Plan for the 2020-21 season in response to the current situation with the COVID pandemic.  This plan has been develop in an effort to allow hockey to be played and help keep our members safe.  By registering in the Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association for the 2020-21 season, the expectation is that all players will adhere to the rules and policies laid out by the Province, County, Local Public Health Office, CARHA and the Association itself.  Failure to comply with these rules can result in players receiving warnings and or removal from the league without refund.

    Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association reserve the right to change these policies without notice.  The pandemic is a fluid situation that changes so rapidly that these policies and procedures have been created at a moment in time based on the current conditions in the community.  The league reserves the right to change and or implement new policies and or procedures at anytime, so that we may stay current with situation and adhere to requirements placed upon our league.

    These policies will be posted on the Association's website along with policies from CARHA and Haldimand County.

    All policy changes will be distributed to the league immediately upon receiving board approval.

    All policy changes resulting from directives from the province, county, local public health office or any other governing authority shall be effective immediately.  These will be distributed to the league immediately upon receiving.



    PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE RECOMMENDATIONS ARE A GUIDELINE ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF THE RISKS AND PRECAUTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RETURN TO ADULT RECREATIONAL HOCKEY.  THESE RECOMMENDATIONS ARE FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE HEALTH OR LEGAL ADVICE.  AT ALL TIMES IT IS THE PLAYERS/PARTICIPANTS RESPONSIBILITY TO ASSESS AND MANAGE THE RISK ASSOCIATED WITH THE RETURN TO HOCKEY AND HOCKEY RELATED ACTIVITIES.  THESE GUIDELINES DO NOT REPLACE OR OVERRULE ANY NATIONAL, PROVINCIAL, TERRITORIAL, MUNICIPAL, OR ANY OTHER APPLICABLE PUBLIC HEALTH LAWS OR REGULATIONS. CARHA AND THE CALEDONIA OLDTIMERS HOCKEY ASSOCIATION SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES, CLAIMS OR DAMAGES RELATING TO COVID-19 ARISING UPON THE RETURN TO ADULT RECREATIONAL HOCKEY.

  5. Attendance, Contact Tracing and Health Screening

    Attendance for Contract Tracing purposes and Health Screening are a mandatory step the Caledonia Oldtimers Hockey Association must complete in order to participate in ice hockeythis season.

    The TeamSnap App will be used by all players to confirm attendance and complete a health screening questionnaire prior to each game.

     Failure to comply with these rules can result in players receiving warnings and or removal from the league without refund.
  6. CARHA Waiver

    For this season, CARHA as secured insurance that includes clauses and coverage related to COVID-19.  As such, CARHA as advised our league that each player must complete the online form prior to being eligible to play.  

    Details are not available at this time.  Once this information is available, the league will distribute all registered players.

    Failure to complete this form will result in a player in ineligible to play until it is completed.  Furthermore, any insurance coverage through CARHA will not be valid until the waiver is completed. 
  7. Refund Policy:

    The refund policy for the 2020-21 season has been outlined in the Season Plan document posed on the association's website and is also detailed on the Refund Policy page on the website.

    All players are expected to review the refund policy in detail prior to registering.

    No refunds will be issued outside of the parameters detail in the Season Plan document or the association's website.
